Transcriptionists can easily transcribe audio from OM System or Olympus DS Series handheld dictation devices or any device that records audio in the following formats:

• .ds2 (DSS Pro with or without encryption)
• .dss
• .mp3
• .wav

ODMS R8 Transcription Module replaces Olympus ODMS R7 Transcription Module (TM) which was end-of-life in March 2024.

ODMS R8 Transcription Module (TM) looks and feels the same as R7 just with rebranding to the OM System name and compatibility with the new OM System RS-31N and RS-28N pedals. Also compatible with Olympus RS-31H and RS-28H pedals.

Available as a full licence or upgrade licence.

Buy an ODMS R8 TM FULL licence if:

• You need to use the TM on another PC, each install requires a unique licence key
• You need to upgrade from an older Olympus ODMS R6 or DSS Player Pro R5 transcription module licence
• OM System part AS-R802

Buy an ODMS R8 TM UPGRADE licence only if:

• You already own an ODMS R7 Transcription Module TM licence key, not a Dictation Module DM licence key. 
• The licence key you already own must start with the characters RT7
• OM System part AS-R804
