The OM System RS-28N and RS-31N transcription typing foot pedals are high-end professional USB foot controls with either three or four pedals, designed to streamline dictation and transcription tasks with ease. Solidly built to last for years.

Previously sold as the Olympus RS-31H and RS-28H. If you've used an RS-31H, RS-28H, RS-27H or RS-27N before, the RS-31N/RS-28N are their direct, OM System-branded successors with the same pedal layout and feel.

• Versatile Control: With four pedals (RS-31N) or three pedals (RS-28N), the OM System RS N-series pedals allow effortless control of ODMS or third-party applications via keyboard shortcuts or multimedia keys.
• Customisable Commands: Use the free Footswitch Configuration Tool to assign personalised commands to the pedals, adapting to your unique workflow needs - including when using non OM System software, e.g. Express Scribe.
• Ergonomic Design: Extra-wide centre pedal and locking centre/top pedal options ensure comfort during prolonged use.
• Durable Construction: Both models are built to withstand daily use, with a durable, long USB cable (RS-31N 2.5m; RS-28N 1.8m) and a nonslip mat for stability while transcribing.
• Optional HID Keyboard Mode: Enhance compatibility with various operating systems and software applications.
• Hands-Free Recording: Connect to a compatible OM System docking station (CR-21) for hands-free dictation recording to the digital dictaphone, without PC connectivity.

Compatible Software - Important

The RS-28N and RS-31N are only compatible with the following current OM System software:

• OM System ODMS R8 Transcription Module (TM)
• OM System ODMS Cloud Transcriptionist Licence

They are NOT compatible with ODMS R7 or earlier (R6, DSS Player Pro R5). Not sure what software version you're running? Contact us for help.

• If you currently run ODMS R7 Transcription Module and want to use these new pedals, you'll need to upgrade your licence first - Part AS-R804 - ODMS R7 to R8 Upgrade
• If you do not have any OM System/Olympus software, or own an old R5 or R6 Transcription Module (TM) licence key, you will need a full ODMS R8 Transcription Module (TM) licence - part AS-R802
• ODMS R8 can be installed free for 30 days in trial mode so you can test before you buy
