What is a docking cradle?

Both purchase options include an ODMS R7 Dictation Module (DM) software licence for Windows and a DSS Player Plus v7 software licence key for macOS.

Docking cradle included option - comes with a CR-21 docking station and F-5AC power supply for the DS-9000 which 1) connects the dictaphone via USB to your PC or Mac and 2) is also used to recharge the dictaphone keeping the battery always ready.

Without docking cradle option - is just the digital dictaphone with a USB cable. Often purchased if you are upgrading from the older Olympus DS-7000 model dictaphone and can therefore re-use the CR-15 dock from the DS-7000. Or if you are happy with manually connecting the USB cable to the DS-9000 and your computer.
